Randy Ross Kesner, age 61 of Rig Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday morning, October 10, 2022 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on April 14, 1961 in Petersburg, WV, he was the son of Elwood Ross Kesner and Fay Burnette Riggleman Kesner of Moorefield, WV.
Randy was a member of the Local #132 Operating Engineer’s and a Lifetime Member of the NRA. He had worked for Kanawha Stone and ALL Construction and other numerous contractors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Oak Dale Christian Church and he loved his dog, Maxie Grace and his cats, Molly, Dolly and Sawyer. Randy had a brotherhood of friends he worked with, he liked to help others and never knew a stranger. When he was home, he always stayed busy fixing things (Mechanical).
Surviving is his wife of twelve plus years, Jacqueline “Jackie” Fay Kuykendall Kesner; four grandchildren; Chasity Alt, who he raised, Blake, Hunter, and Addy Heavner; a sister Sandy (Tim) Thorne of Moorefield, WV; a brother-in-law, Mark Kuykendall and sister-in-law Susie; three nephews; John Ross (Kendra) Weese, Philip (Ariel) Weese and Marcus (Maddy) Kuykendall; two nieces; Emily (Eric) Morris, Hayley Kuykendall; five great-nephews and three great-nieces.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Lynn Rohrbaugh officiant. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until time of services. Due to the current COVID-19 recommendations, wearing of masks and social distancing by individuals unvaccinated is recommended.
Memorials may be directed to any animal shelters of the donor’s choice.
