Randy, better known as "Gordy" was the third child born from the union of Anderson Loving Sr of Alabama and Anna Loving of Summerfield, Louisiana in 1963, whom both preceded him in death. He attended Irvington Elementary School, as well as Creston Grade School, then graduated from Grant High School when he was seventeen years old. After he finished high school, he was awarded a full scholarship to Cal Tech to study Electrical Engineering; however, he wouldn't go due his favorite girl "Anna", was diagnosed with cancer. He then decided to stay close to home and attend ITT Technical Institute where he earned his Electrical Engineering and Science Degree in 1986. Gordy's most memorable job was at 7th street market on Knott street with Joe Mayfield. He then used his degree to obtain his first job in his field at the formally known "Rogers Cable Company" as a cable installer. However, that wasn't enough for Gordy, so he went back to school to obtain another degree as an electrician journeyman with the IBEW Local 48. He then work at the Oregon Convention Center as an electrician until he retired in 2007. Gordy enjoyed traveling, having family get togethers, working on his house and helping people . Gordy leaves to mourn his passing; his wife, Rena Loving, his daughter, Misty Loving, step-daughter, Alisha Ferreira, step-son, Joshua Ferreira; two sisters, Tamara McWilliams Delores Loving; one brother, Anderson Loving Jr; one brother-in-law, Darryl McWiiliams; two nieces, Masheria Morton (All in Portland, Oregon) and Quiana McWilliams (Jaylen)(Jackson, MS) and host of cousins, family and friends.
