Randy Maynard was born February 18, 1964 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at his residence in Bloomington Springs at the age of 60.
Randy was the son of Hooper Maynard and Dorothy Frances Robinson Hammock. He was a retired Tennessee State Trooper and a member of of Tannehill Lodge #133 FAAM in Gainesboro, TN. On July 22, 1995, he married Leslie Huddleston. They spent a total of 29 years in marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Leamon and step dad Bob Hammock.
Survivors include his wife: Leslie Huddleston Maynard of Bloomington Springs; son: Dillon (Rachel) Maynard of Gainesboro; daughters: Rachel (Nathan) Fields and Katie Maynard both of Bloomington Springs; sisters: Nancy (Scott) Goodeon and Pam Holt, both of Cookeville, Judy (Gene) Stephens of Gainesboro, Debbie (George) Akers of Bloomington Springs; two grandchildren: Hukson Ray Fields and Reed Hooper Maynard. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 12 pm to 8 pm and again on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Monday, January 6, 2025, in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Flatt & Woolbright Cemetery.
Masonic Service will be conducted on Sunday at 6 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to Cowan Norton Memorial Christmas Fund for Tannehill Lodge #133 by contacting the funeral home.
