Randy Moreland Obituary
Randy Lee Moreland, 68, of Short Gap, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
Born February 24, 1957, in Cumberland, MD, he is the son of Ellen (Flora) Moreland and the late Roy Paul Moreland.
He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie Sue (Riffle) Moreland, in 2021
Randy was a graduate of Ridgeley High School.
He was a pipefitter and a member of Local #489, Plumbers and Steamfitters, Cumberland.
Randy belonged to the Old Furnace Covenant Brethren Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Jenny; adored granddaughter, Harlyn Grace; siblings, Roger Moreland and wife Cathy, Rhonda Via and husband Steve, and Ranae Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2-4 PM. The funeral service will follow at 4 PM.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park on Monday at 11 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
