Memorial Service for Randy Lee Moreno will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Randy was born on October 11, 1974, to Lorenzo and Manuela Moreno in Brownfield, TX. He passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 50.
Born with an innate talent for rhythm, Randy dedicated countless years to his passion for playing the drums, as he played in various bands and honed his skills. One of his cherished memories includes practicing with the iconic singer Bob Seger, an experience that showcased not only his talent but also his dedication to the craft.
Randy's love extended beyond music; he had a profound affection for dogs, often sharing his home and heart with his furry companions. His gentle spirit found purpose in being a caregiver for his nephew, Michael Moreno, with whom he formed an unbreakable bond. Randy's kindness and unwavering support were a testament to the love he held for his family.
Randy was preceded in death by his wife, Brittany Bell Moreno; his parents, Lorenzo and Manuela Moreno; brothers, Lorenzo Moreno, Jr. and Mario Moreno. He is survived by his siblings; Norma Moreno of Lubbock, Larry Moreno and wife Elva of Lubbock, and Lora Dillard and husband Jose of Brownfield; sister-in-law, Staci Moreno of Lubbock; nephews, Micheal Moreno and Mark Moreno; niece, Jennifer Valdez; and many other nieces and nephews.
