Randy Lamar Owens, 67 of Cordele, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at Crisp Regional Hospital. Born in Cordele, he was the son of Pearline Bowen Owens and the late William Lamar Owens. Randy was the owner of SuperGlass Windshield Repair franchise and an active member of Northern Heights Baptist Church where he was a happy greeter. He loved his Lord and his church family. He was a kind and humble man who always wore a smile and had a word for everyone he met. He loved to travel, especially going on trips to the beach with his family. Randy loved the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. His biggest passion though was his wife and family and the special times that he was blessed to spend with them. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kay B. Owens of Cordele; four sons and their wives, Wes (Kathy) Bennett of Cordele, Don (Amy) Owens of Columbia, TN, Jonathan (Carrie) Owens of Goodlettsville, TN and Matthew (Amberly) Owens of Loxley, AL; his mother, Pearline Owens of Leesburg; two brothers, Tony Owens of Leesburg and Chris (DeeAnn) Owens of Cleveland; seven grandchildren, Garrett (Catherine) Bennett of Hawkinsville, Katie (Carter) Powers of Columbia, TN, Graham Bennett of Cordele, Will Owens of Columbia, TN, Gatlin Bennett of Cordele, Zackery Owens and Elijah Owens, all of Columbia, TN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2025, in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with burial following in Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
