Randy "Hippy" Lee Randolph, 61, of Belmont, NC, passed away on January 30, 2026, at Caromont Regional Belmont after a brief illness. He was born on September 6, 1964, in Wayne County, MI and preceded in death by his father Henry Earnest Randolph.
Randy was a friend to all and never met a stranger. He lived life to the fullest. Loved riding in the wind on his beloved Harley. He was a Navy veteran. A member and retired officer of the Guardians of the Children-Gastonia Chapter. He loved advocating for the children. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family. Loved singing and playing drums when he had the chance too. He was an animal lover, especially to his beloved German Shepherds, Major and Sarge who preceded him in death. He was a master mechanic; he could resurrect a failing engine or rebuild one that seemed beyond saving. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many. Rest in Peace and fly high Hippy.
Surviving is his mom, Pat Randolph, Sister, Cyndi Campbell. Children, Chelsea Grigg (Jerry) Jonathan Randolph and 2 grandchildren. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at Trinity Church 119 Kristie Lane Kings Mountain, NC Saturday April 11, 2026 at 2:30 pm.
