Louella Green Beach, age 78, most recently of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, and long-time resident of Gastonia, passed away surrounded by the love she spent a lifetime giving to others.
Louella was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Glenn Beach, with whom she shared a devoted marriage and a life centered on faith and family.
She is survived by her children, Lore Beach Spivey and her husband Mark Spivey, and Kenneth Glenn Beach Jr. and his wife Kierstin Beach; and by her cherished grandchildren, Trenton Wesley Spivey, Morgan Leigh Spivey, and Sophie Reese Beach, who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life.
A devout Christian, Louella lived her faith daily through kindness, compassion, and quiet strength. She was known for her warm heart, steady presence, and sense of humor that could bring light even in difficult moments. Her life was defined by care-for her family, her friends, and her neighbors-and by a deep belief in loving others as Christ loved her.
Above all, Louella was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her love was generous, her guidance unwavering, and her home a place of comfort and welcome. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, service, and love that will continue to live on through those who knew her.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Friday, February 13, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM. A service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. She will then be reunited with her husband at Gaston Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, https://lifecare.org/donate/ in gratitude for the compassionate care provided.
The family of Louella Green Beach extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown during this time. Your kindness, messages, and presence have been a great comfort and a true reflection of the life Louella lived-one rooted in faith, compassion, and care for others. We are deeply thankful to all who have walked beside us and continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives."
- John 14:27
