Randy Eugene Reeves was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on July 10, 1955. He was the son of Eugene Reeves and Lillian Kellogg Reeves.

He departed this life at his home in Caruthersville, Missouri, on February 5, 2026. He was 70 years old.

Randy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

Randy was a very talented carpenter. In addition to being so successful in the carpenter work, he also was known for his music talent. He had a huge collection of guitars and was always ready to grab one and have a jam session with friends and family. He also had a collection of lots of different types of cars. In addition to music and cars, Randy enjoyed fishing.

He was known to always be a straight shooter and walk to his own drummer.

During baseball season, Randy always was ready to talk about the St. Louis Cardinals.

He is survived by his mother: Lillian Reeves; his four children: Valerie, Randy, Stacy, and Devin; his siblings: Carol, Gary, Julie, Chris and Keith; a number of grandchildren: Lizzy McFarland, Kara Bradford, Cody Johns, and Aiden Reeves; great grandchildren: Raiden McFarland and Ryder McFarland; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial services will held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Funeral Chapel in Caruthersville, Missouri.
