Randy Carl Scott

Randy Carl Scott was born October 10, 1953 in Centerville, Iowa and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 18, 2025 in Norman, Oklahoma after a courageous battle with cancer. Randy lived a life rich with family, friends and cherished memories.
Randy worked as a Project Manager and Supervisor at Union Carbide which became Viskase, then Curwood, then Bemis, retiring in 2017 with 45 years of service. He was an avid sports fan of Iowa Hawkeyes, OU Sooners and OKC Thunder. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, relaxing with his favorite music playlists and especially woodworking following in his father's footsteps creating gifts for family and friends.
Randy was a loving husband to his wife, Karen Scott. They were married in 1985 and just celebrated their 40th anniversary. He was a devoted Dad to his daughters Heather Maletta(Tim), Miranda Tucker (Cliff), and Joni Shamley (Colby) and Grandpa/Papa to McKinlee Jenkins (Jordan), Ty Tucker, Brooklynn Shephard, Olivia Shamley, Kirby Tucker and great grandson, Walker Jenkins.
Randy is survived by his sisters, Karla Hammes (Russell), Kathy Wilson (Greg) and brother, Dave Townsend (Deb). He is also survived by sister-in-law Patti Larman and brother-in-laws Steve Larman (Diane) and Travis Clark. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends Danny and Shelia Tucker.
Randy was proceeded in death by his parents, Carl and Mildred Scott; Step Mother, Bonnie Scott, sister, Karen Mason-Carle.,
In-laws Vernon and Elaine Larman and sister-in-law Janice Clark.
His light will shine brightly in the memories of those he leaves behind.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 at 10:00 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Keith Huitt and Rev. Bruce Ford. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery at Purcell under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mickey Larman, B. J. Larman, Seth Larman, Bryan Larman, David Pounds, and Jared Pounds.
