Randy Carlton Stutts, of Hamptonville, born on March 16, 1956, in Iredell County, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, at Mitchell Mack Hospice House, following a lengthy illness. Randy was of the Baptist faith and carried his beliefs with dignity throughout his life.

He was a remarkable individual who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Randy loved his land, cherished his heavy farm equipment, and took great pride in his work and his time spent outdoors. His passion for farming was evident in everything he did. Randy also delighted in sharing meals with his friends, creating memories around the dining table that he held dear.

Randy is survived by his brother, Jimmy Stutts, and sister-in-law, Becky. He also leaves behind his nephew, James E. Stutts, and his wife Gaby, and niece, Stephanie S. Smith, and her husband, Kent. He was adored by many friends whose love and support surrounded him throughout his life, demonstrating the strong bonds he formed with those around him.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Ernest Stutts,  his mother, Mildred Hobbs Stutts, and a brother, Danny Thomas Stutts. Randy’s legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the memories he created. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
