I was honored to know Rantz for many years. He had a positive attitude which made his company an inspiration to me that will not be forgotten. I will miss his smile and good nature.

I met Rantz in 73, we became close as I was with East Joliet F.D. and Gaynor Ambulance Serv. We fought a lot of fire together. We would go to Chicago first to Eng. 44 18th Bat. Chief. Then to Eng.95 Truck 26 , 2nd Div. Marshal. We did that to fight more fire and get more experience . What times we had, friendships with great memories. Rantz R.I.P. my friend.
