Raphael Carl Klemencic

Raphael (aka Ray and Lips) Carl Klemencic, 69, of Kinsman, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 8, 2025. He was born on December 3, 1955, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Raymond and Mary (Rita) Klemencic and attended Grand Valley Schools. On November 24, 1979, Raphael married Jenny Lahti (who preceded him in death). He later married Juanita Farmer on June 27, 1994. Raphael was a truck driver for Dan Slusher's Trucking but was most proud of operating his own company, Raphael's Trucking. In addition to trucking, he also worked Roughneck in the oil fields, Easton Excavators and Colebrook Elevator and was a member of Laborers' International Union Local 860. When not working, he enjoyed visiting the Moose Lodge where he was a member for 29 years, golfing, hunting, motorcycle riding, and spending time with family and friends while enjoying a few cold ones. He is survived by his children, Joshua (Sarah) Klemencic and Jessica Klemencic; grandchildren, Teagan Johnson and Lennon Klemencic; brother, Jim (Carol) Klemencic; nephew, Chad (Katie) Klemencic, along with many other nephews and nieces; stepchildren, Mitchell Campbell, Tyler and Caitlin Castle; and many close friends. Raphael was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary (Rita) Klemencic; wife, Jenny Klemencic; siblings, Sandy, Sherry Klemencic, John Klemencic and Frank Klemencic. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. He will be buried in Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson, Ohio.
