Raul Arturo Reta, 31, of Stratford, died on Sunday, May 18, 2025. A rosary service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 23, 2025 followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Juan Carlos Barragan officiating. Burial will be at the Stratford Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Raul was born on August 12, 1993 in Dumas to Santiago and Isabell Reta. He grew up in Stratford and graduated from Stratford High School. He loved to eat pizza, tortillas, and watch sports. He always enjoyed seeing family, playing and roughing them up.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Isabell Reta of Stratford; a sister, Krista Ibarra and husband Pablo of Stratford; a brother, Joey Reta and wife Kristina of Midland; two nieces, Adylene Ibarra and Raelynn Reta; and two nephews, Santiago Ibarra and Jaxson Reta; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and his Advo family.
