Liberato Ortega Obituary
Liberato was born on August 23, 1968 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Maura and Liberato Ortega Sr. He moved to Stratford with his wife in 1992. He had worked in agriculture most of his life and was a very hard worker. He loved spending time feeding his chickens and cows. He also enjoyed collecting ball caps and making people laugh.
He married Julieta Rivera on June 6, 1992.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maura Ortega and a brother, Efrain Ortega.
He is survived by his wife, Julieta Ortega; three sons, Steve Ortega and wife Jazmin, Albert Ortega and wife Antolina, and Victor Ortega and wife Erica, all of Stratford; his father, Liberato Ortega Sr.; three sisters, Blanca Ortega, Lupe Ortega, and Hilda Ortega; a brother, Santos Ortega; and three grandchildren, Steve Ortega Jr., Jasmin Ortega, and Jaclyn Ortega.
