Raul Sonoy Robledo

Raul was known for his laid-back personality and his love for his family. He met his soulmate Kathy Brown in Coos Bay, Ore., and married only months later June 30, 1986. They spent their honeymoon at Golden and Silver Falls. He was so in love, he departed from his family in Iloilo City for the love of his life to move to Lewiston, where they raised five children: Don, Joshua, Raoul, Ally and Robert and doted upon their nine grandchildren. Here, they spent 39 years together before his passing.
Although he was laid-back, he was an outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and taking care of all outdoor chores around his house. He was a man of quiet faith and firm convictions, always ready to offer a helping hand or a kind word.
Raul is survived by his wife Kathy, his daughter Ally, his sons Robert and Raoul, daughter-in-law Paislie, sister Heide R. Sampiano, two brothers Mario S. Robledo and Napoleon S. Robledo, grandkids Natalie, Emily, Avory, Tayzek, Faith, Bridger, Madelaine, Archer, Eva and many other family members from both sides of the globe. He was preceded in death by his father, Alberto T. Robledo, mother Ceferina S. Robledo, three brothers Alberto S. Robledo, Nestor S. Robledo and Ebuen S. Robledo, his sister Hortencia R. Samillano, his two sons Don C. Zimmerman and Joshua J. Robledo and his daughter-in-law Kelley M. Kimbley.
A Service will be held on Thursday, May 15 at 2 p.m., at Word of Life Church, 2502, 16th Ave., Lewiston. then a potluck dinner with Filipino dishes will follow at the church.
