Raul Sanchez “Angel”
Belden – Raul Sanchez “Angel,” age 54, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Born on July 13, 1969, to Leonila Lopez Ramos and Eusebio Sanchez, Raul lived a life defined by generosity, devotion, and a true love for family.
A man of Catholic faith, Raul carried himself with a kind spirit and a good heart. He was a natural hard worker who took great pride in providing for those he loved. Known for his mechanical talents, he enjoyed working on vehicles and could often be found with tools in hand, eager to lend his skills to anyone in need.
Those who knew Raul will remember his outgoing personality and his ability to make others feel welcome and cared for. His laughter and presence filled every room he entered. More than anything, Raul cherished the time he spent with his family. For 25 years, he shared a loving and devoted relationship with his girlfriend, Judy Streetman, a bond that was a source of strength, comfort, and joy throughout his life.
Raul’s legacy is one of faith, hard work, and love for others. He will be remembered as a man who gave of himself freely, who met challenges with determination, and who left a lasting impression on all who were blessed to know him.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Judy Streetman; sons, Joshua Rodgers (Chelsey), Curtis Rodgers, Jr. (Melissa), and Casey Rodgers (Leslie); grandchildren, Katie Rodgers, Hunter Rodgers, Avalynn Rodgers, Deliane Rodgers, Sutton Rose Rodgers, Gracie Mardis, and Isabella Hill; and a host of other family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Espino Sanchez.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025, at Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Bro. Jody Riddle officiating. A graveside service will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Rodgers, Casey Rodgers, Curtis Rodgers, Jr., Randall Streetman, Patrick Streetman, and Corey Petty.
