Ravan Miriam Patrick, made her epic entrance on August 3. Raised in Plainfield, NJ, and a resident of Staten Island, NY, she passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, surrounded by her three children Kylah, Kiara and Malachi Williams. She was 52.
Those who knew her well would describe Rav as "quietly determined" - a trait illustrated by her willingness to travel and advocate for holistic pain management while enduring medical treatments herself. She kept any complaint to herself while advocating for 430B, a law meant to protect patients.
There are also those who might call her "loudly determined," especially as she pushed to check o a bucket list item: spend her birthday on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts with her family - which she accomplished less than a month before her passing.
Ravan is survived by her three aforementioned children; her mother, Deanna Pinckney Patrick, her siblings: Herman Patrick, Ayn Patrick, Lorne Patrick, Elan Patrick and Phillip Patrick. She was predeceased by her father, The Honorable Vernell Patrick, Jr.
