Ray Allen Beams, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the age of 67.

Ray was born in Louisville, KY, on January 8, 1958, to Mark Buford Beams and Mary Lola Beams.

In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded is death by his daughter; Mary Lee Beams; half-brothers Charlie Smith, William Smith; half-sister, Sue and and his loving dog, Elmo.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Alinder Sue Beams; son, Jimmy Beams; daughter, Rosanna Beams; brother Randy Beams; sister, Rebecca Beams; half-sister, Jo Helen Smith; granddaughter, Kallee Howard; and cats Huckleberry and joseph.

Ray was an avid sports lover and in his younger years enjoyed drag racing with his brother.

Ray also loved to go fishing and had fond memories of going with his mother.

Ray loved and cherished spending time with his granddaughter Kallee.

Ray was an Elder at Gateway Christian Church and deeply loved his church family.

A funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bellwood Cemetery in Adams TN. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Don, Bradley Beams, Scotty, Brian Husley, David Douglass, and Mark Grimsley.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gateway Christian Church
