Ray Bloomer Obituary
Ray Edward Bloomer, 77, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024.
He was born on July 18, 1947 in New Albany to Ray and Ruth (Cox) Bloomer. Along with his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his brothers, Ricky Goodale and Gary Bloomer.
Ray is survived by his wife, Jessie (Larue) Morris Bloomer; sons, Joshua Ray Bloomer, Nathan Bloomer; grandchildren, Lexi, Eli, Fox, Sierra; siblings, Betty White, Vicky Baye, Bart Bloomer, Greg Prather (Linda), Sherry Tutts, Roger Goodale (DeeDee); Patty Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
Ray's wish was to be cremated and a gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Contributions in Ray’s memory may be made to his wife in care of the funeral home.
