Jason Pearson

Jason Wayne Pearson, born on March 18, 1981, in New Albany, Indiana, passed away on February 2, 2026 surrounded by his family. A lifelong resident of Elizabeth, Indiana, he worked as a skilled carpenter in the Union. Despite his early retirement, his commitment to his craft never wavered, and he remained a respected figure in his field.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Howell, grandparents: Raymond and Kathleen Pearson , and one sister, Mary Slinker

Surviving Jason are his father, Keith Pearson (Lisa), his sister, Pamela Miller, family: Christopher Pearson (Amber), Megan Gray (Christopher), Brian Pearson (Mary), Chuck Slinker Amber Rae, grandmother, Winnie Slinker, his companion dog, Fritz (Who truly helped him during his cancer journey) as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

In accordance with his wishes to help others learn from his illness, Jason has donated his body to medical science. Arrangements were entrusted to Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home.
