Ray was a neighbor to my sister and lived at the end of our little street Brady Lane in Strongsville. He and the family were always very nice. I remember once when I was going door-to-door selling Girl Scout cookies Gail answered the door. She was going to order a box or two but Ray came up behind her and asked if I had gone to their right next door neighbor, Mr. Damm´s house yet. When I said I had and they ordered, he said to get a box of each. While filling out that order he came back and said to get TWO of each! Laughing as he walked away I asked Mrs. Jenny if he was serious. She laughed and said if he wanted them, to go ahead. Our street was populated with only 21 houses, and we had a host of wonderful neighbors. But Ray would share his building knowledge and time with anyone who needed help or advice. A very nice man who raised a very nice family and enjoyed his Girl Scout cookies!

Will miss seeing him on Ray and Scott's jobs, I always enjoyed talking to him and could tell that he was frustrated because he was still a young guy at heart but the body was worn out so he couldn't do all the things that he wanted to.

Dear Gail and family. My deepest condolences to all of you. I have many fond memories of Ray. He and I were golfing buddies for many years, and actually one the member member tournament twice. I recall that Ray never let Gail not remember that she had the opportunity to sleep with the member member champion. Ray had a great sense of humor and was always fun to be with. I am saddened by his loss, and will miss my dear friend.
