Ray Moreau Obituary
Rock, a resident of Lawtell, was the son of the late Freeman Moreau and the former Mary Prudhomme. He retired after 25 years of dedicated service as an Operator and Repeat Formation Tester for Schlumberger. A loving husband, father and grandfather; he loved bass fishing and walking.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Katherine Manuel Moreau of Lawtell; his three sons, Damian Moreau and wife Dana of Fairhope, AL, Blaine Moreau and wife Danielle of Lawtell and Christopher Moreau and wife Lyra of Lawtell; nine grandchildren, Taylor, Avarie, Noah, Caitlin, Alex, Maddie, Thomas, Dylan and Alayna; one great-grandchild, Ellie and one brother, Terry Moreau of Lawtell. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Janet Moreau and one brother, James Moreau.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Friday, September 13, from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM and continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass. A Rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Friday evening at 7:00 PM. Personal condolences may be sent to the Moreau family at www.guidryfuneralhome.com. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N. Broadway St., Church Point, LA is in charge of final arrangements.
