Ray Keith Perry, age 70 of Portland, passed away unexpectedly September 13, 2022. Mr. Perry was born on August 10, 1952 in Iaeger, West Virginia to the late Walter Ray Perry and the late Ruby Gay Perry. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Rae Perry. Keith is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ethel Perry; children, Samantha Lynn Perry (Randy Maness) and Ray Keith Perry, Jr. (Christy); grandchildren, Chloe Callahan, Brandon Cline (Jennifer Gann), Brody Perry, Jordan Perry, and Desirae Perry (Connor Dixon); great-grandchildren, Paisley Rae Dixon and Sawyer Keith Dixon; sister, Kimberly Dawn Blankenship (Billy Ray); and nephews, Jeremy Perry (Nikki) and Aaron Blankenship. Keith was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle along with many other titles. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, Titans and Alabama football, his musical career, and background in music. His joking personality usually made him the center of attention and made everyone smile at the same time. Keith was the elder of the family and often times the one that everyone went to for advice. His presence will be missed by so many, but his memories will live with us all forever. A Life Celebration Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside in Hendersonville. Arrangements Entrusted to: Sumner Funeral & Cremation, Gallatin (615)452-9059 www.sumnerfuneral.com
