Ray Lee Riley, born on August 4, 1948, in New York, New York, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on October 10, 2025. He was a dedicated professional, spending his career as a Commercial Lines Underwriter in the insurance industry. Ray's educational journey culminated in a Bachelor’s degree in business, equipping him with the knowledge and skills that shaped his successful career.

Beyond his professional life, Ray was known for his passions and interests. An avid fan of Star Trek, he often found joy in the adventures of space exploration as depicted in the beloved series. Additionally, his love for Scouting greatly influenced his family. He nurtured this affection within his family, passing it on to his son, David R. He also maintained a meaningful friendship with his ex-wife, Rande Kaufman, who cherished their connection over the years. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, his wife, and their children.

Ray leaves behind the loving memory of his parents, Marvin Webster Riley and Jane Poehl Riley, both of whom have preceded him in death.
