Kathy Sue (Herrington) Esslinger, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, of Lebanon, Indiana passed away on February 26th. Kathy was born June 23, 1952 to parents Murl and Rosey Herrington of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Kathy graduated from Arsenal Tech High School, she went on to marry her beloved husband of 50 years, Dennis Esslinger on April 5th. Together they built a life centered on love and family devotion. She lived an inspiring, vibrant life full of purpose. She was full of energy and generosity and gave endlessly to her family. She carried herself with a quiet steadiness that made those around her feel at ease.
Kathy is survived by her son Scott Esslinger (Denise), and daughters, Suzanne Ziebarth (Curtis), Stacy Hines (Nate), 7 grandchildren, Rachael Dickerson, Ariawna Ziebarth, Xander and Xavier Esslinger and Ava, Andrew, and Zion Hines, her mother Rosey Herrington, sisters Charlotte Holden (AL), Betty Farris (Frank), Diana McKinney (Luke) and her brother Steve Herrington. She is proceeded in death by her father Murl Herrington.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date, with details to follow.
