Mr. Ray Norman Sanders

Ray Norman Sanders, 90, husband of Jeanette Wilbanks Sanders, of Seneca, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Cottingham Hospice House. Born in Oconee County, Mr. Sanders is the son of the late Albert and Bertha Schlock Sanders. He was a member of Return Baptist Church and was a man of deep love and strength. Above all, Mr. Sanders adored his wife, with whom he shared 61 beautiful years of marriage. In addition to his beloved wife, Mr. Sanders is survived by his adopted son: Steve Holbrooks (Tammy); brother-in-law: John Milton Wilbanks (Betty); and many nieces and nephews whom he loved like his own. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas Albert Sanders, and Bobby Otto Sanders; and sisters: Elizabeth Hemphill, and Sue Hellen Prince.
