Roger Wallace Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Davenport Funeral Home, Inc. - Walhalla/West Union on Feb. 16, 2026.
Roger Wallace, 74, died Tuesday, February 10th surrounded by his wife and two children, Alexandra and Nicholas.

Roger was born August 26, 1951 in Jamestown, Ohio to Max E. Wallace and Otha Mable Jordan. He grew up with his sisters, Glenda and Peggy-Jane, in Ohio and fondly recalled spending time with his Uncle Neil (Beard) on his farm.

After graduating from Greeneview High School in 1969, he earned a Bachelor's and Master's of Business Administration from Wright State University where he later met his wife, Christine. They were blessed with two children, Alexandra (34) and Nicholas (32), who were the light of his life.

Roger lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. He was happiest watching football as a life-long Ohio State Buckeyes and Raider's fan, on his boat, with his dog, or with a glass of wine in his hand. Witty, intelligent, and kind-hearted, he gave generously, always looked out for the underdog, believed in paying it forward, and never took himself too seriously. A beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend, Roger touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Max, and other members of the Wallace family, and his mother, Otha (Jody) Jordan and other members of the Jordan family.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Wallace, his daughter, Alexandra Wallace, his son, Nicholas Wallace, his sisters, Glenda Floyd and Peggy-Jane Wallace, his beloved dog Rocky, extended family members and countless friends.

A celebration of life will be held at his lakeside home in Seneca, SC. Memorial contributions are suggested to Roger's favorite charity, the Wounded Warrior Project.
