Raychel Mary Sheridan, age 24, of Plain Township, passed away unexpectedly. Born on April 8, 2000, in Canton, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Lisa Sheridan and her fiancé Dwayne Scaggs. She was a resident of the Plain Township community throughout her life.
Raychel graduated from GlenOak High School in 2018, where her studies in horticulture nurtured her deep passion for flowers and nature. Known for her compassionate spirit, Raychel was the person everyone confided in and was deeply loved by her friends and family. If Raychel were here today, she would be the one offering comfort, perhaps with a sunflower in hand. Her grace and beauty will forever transcend time, as she now walks among angels.
Raychel is preceded in death by her grandparents David Sheridan and Patsy Moulton and her uncle Mark Poorman.
Those left to hold Raychel memories close to their hearts are mother Lisa Sheridan and her fiancé Dwayne Scaggs; grandmother Peggy Sheridan; brother Jonathan Gillilan; half brother and sister DJ and Britney Burch; uncles Scott, Chad (Audrea), and Kevin Sheridan; numerous cousins and many friends.
A celebration of Raychel’s remarkable life will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 7:00 pm. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Humble officiating . Friends and family may call two hours prior (5:00 pm -7:00 pm).
The family kindly requests, if it's possible for you, to bring a simple sunflower to the Celebration of Life services in honor of Raychel. You don't need to arrange anything elaborate; the thoughtful gesture of bringing a single sunflower, which she adored, would mean a lot to them. Your kindness will truly be appreciated.
Arrangements are entrusted to Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Ave S. Canton, Ohio 44707. Friends and family may share condolences and memories.
