Raymon Warren Tomasich, cherished husband and devoted father, passed away on December 5, 2025, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 73. Born on October 28, 1952, in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Raymon dedicated his life to working on the river. He held various jobs throughout his career, including serving proudly as a captain.
Raymon was known for his strong character, often stepping up to do what was necessary when needed. His personality was that of a man like few others. He had a deep love for his family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. In his leisure time, he found joy in watching westerns and always went out of his way to help others.
Raymon leaves behind his beloved wife of 26 years, Sandra Tomasich. He is also survived by his children, Raymond, Warren, and James Tomasich, as well as his stepchildren, Jessica Pavolini and Danielle Morgan. His sister, Joan Ladner, is among those who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on December 12, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home in Pass Christian, Mississippi, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, with burial taking place at Alphonse Malley Cemetery at 3:00 PM. Raymon's impact on those who knew him will be remembered fondly, and he will be greatly missed.
