Raymond G. Audette

North Grosvenordale – Raymond G. Audette, 65 years old, passed away in his sleep at home on November 30, 2022.
Raymond was born in 1957 in Webster, MA to the late Adrien Audette and Annetta (Langlois) Audette. He grew up in Thompson, CT with his cousins. Raymond is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jacqueline (Wilson) Audette; his children, son, Aaron Audette and daughter, Jillian (Audette) Nolle and her husband Joshua Nolle; his grandchildren, Carter Nolle and Maya Nolle. Raymond enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved being with his grandchildren and watching them grow. He had a sweet and loving personality and leaves behind many close friends and extended family.
Raymond attended St. Joseph's Grammar School in Thompson, CT and graduated from Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School automotive training program in Danielson, CT. For over 45 years, he was a mechanic and throughout those years, he became a gifted Master Tech for Kia, Chrysler, and Nissan.
He was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast who loved driving his motorcycles and was in the process of re-building a 1948 Chevy Truck. Throughout the years, he built a 1930 Model A Ford from frame up, and rebuilt a Harley Davison ShovelHead Motorcycle engine, just to name a few. Raymond loved to learn new things and liked to watch movies. He had great skills with fixing and creating things. Raymond liked to talk about his life experiences and family history. He shared many great stories about growing up in Thompson.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Raymond's family from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm on Monday, December 5, 2022, in Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., North Grosvenordale, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main Street St. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Grosvenordale.
