Raymond Babash Obituary Raymond Michael Babash, 73, of Allison Park, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2025. He was born on February 10, 1952, in Munhall, Pennsylvania, to the late Valentine and Elizabeth Babash.
Ray lived a life filled with passion, laughter, and dedication to both his family and his work. From a young age, he dreamed of working with telescopes, and he fulfilled that dream as a master optician. Later, during his retirement, he found joy in serving his community as a school bus driver, touching the lives of many children and families along the way.
Ray's hobbies reflected his adventurous spirit. He loved hunting, photography, and archery, and one of his proudest accomplishments was medaling in the Senior Olympics for archery. Beyond his achievements, Ray was known for his gift of storytelling, great taste in music, and his wonderful sense of humor. He never met a stranger and left everyone he encountered with a smile.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Carole; daughters Christine (Justin) Granger and Stefanie (Matthew) Klingensmith; and his cherished grandchildren, Olivia (11) and Julianna (9) Granger, and Maverick (4) and Veda (2) Klingensmith. He is also survived by his brother Ronald (Rita) Babash, and brother in law Kenneth (Maureen) Keim, along with two nephews and three nieces.
Ray's family will welcome guests at Neely Funeral Home on Friday, September 5, 2025, with visitation from 4 - 7 pm.
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, a memorial service will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 11 am. Everyone Please Meet At Church.
Raymond's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
