Raymond passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2025 at the age of 88.

Born on January 17, 1937, in Manhattan, NY, he was the beloved son of Anthony and

Stella (Miazga) Belulovich. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his

brothers, Edward (2017) and Anthony (2005).

Raymond is remembered by his devoted wife of 64 years, Elaine (Fleming); his

daughter, Carleen; his son, Raymond; daughter-in-law, Donna (Calegero); and his

cherished granddaughter, Alexa Rae. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Rita

Belulovich; brothers and sisters-in-law George and Jeanette Fleming, William Fleming,

and James and Geri Fleming; as well as nieces Daurice (Glenn) LeBlanc and Jerrrie-

Ann Fleming, and nephew James (Mary).

After retiring from the NYC-MTA in 1998, Raymond quickly embraced his favorite role

yet, full-time babysitter to his newborn granddaughter, Alexa Rae, in October 1999. She

remained his pride and joy throughout his life.

Raymond loved reminiscing about The Bronx, sharing stories of family trips to Lake

George, visits to Saratoga and Atlantic City, and cheering (and sometimes groaning) for

the New York Yankees and New York horse racing. Above all, he found great joy in

keeping his family on their toes with his humor and spirited personality

.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Cancer Society

(donate.cancer.org) in honor of his daughter-in-law, Donna Belulovich, who continues to

courageously battle this disease.
