Raymond Bott Obituary
Born on August 20, 1940 in Buffalo NY, to the late Wilbert Bott and Helen Bott (Overturf), Raymond was a lifelong resident of Hamburg, NY. Raymond graduated from West Seneca Senior High School and went on to work for Republic Steel Plant for years. After employment from Republic Steel Plant, he continued his career at Niagara Mohawk until he retired.
Ray will be remembered for warm smile, generous spirit, problem solving skills, hard-working and an adventurous spirit. Ray had a passion for Lionel trains, hunting, Classic Mopar cars and woodworking. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert Bott and Helen Bott (Overturf), sister Carole Bieler (Bott) and Ronnie Bieler, brother, Donald Bott and Aunt Pauline Overturf.
Raymond is survived by his five daughters, Lisa Kerstjens (Paul), Tracelene Skillman (Jeff), Paula Watson, Pamela Cefaly (Jason) and Hope Schweizer (Matthew), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Peter's Church of Christ at 1475 Orchard Park Rd. West Seneca, NY. on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 9:30 am. Followed by a gravesite burial at Ridge Lawn Cemetery, 2951 Harlem (corner Genesee St) Cheektowaga, NY 14225.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Raymond's memory to American Alzheimer's Association.
