Chuck Farmer Obituary
May 29, 1968 – November 23, 2025
Charles "Chuck" Emerson Farmer, 57, of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Born May 29, 1968, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Chuck grew up in Rossville, where he built a life grounded in family, faith, and hard work.
A proud graduate of Rossville High School's Class of 1986, Chuck went on to dedicate many years of service as a Parts Service Manager at Fleet Pride of Chattanooga. He was known for his strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Chuck was a devoted member of Rossville Church of Christ, where he found comfort, community, and enduring friendships. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, guns, and four-wheeling-hobbies that reflected both his skill and his love for hands-on pursuits. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, who were the true center of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Candace Scholl Farmer; his parents, Charles and Gail Farmer; his daughter, Brittani Farmer, and her fiancé, Ben Baxley; stepdaughters, Jordan (David) Mewborn and Kirsten (Caleb) Waldrep; and his brother, Robert Lee Farmer. He leaves behind two treasured grandchildren, Magnolia Jane Waldrep and Naomi Ellis Mewborn; nephew, Tylor Scott Farmer; niece, Ashlee (Paul) Tipton; great-nephew, Aiden Tipton; great-niece, Henley Tipton; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him deeply.
A memorial service honoring Chuck's life will be held at Rossville Church of Christ on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with Minister Jack James officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church.
