Raymond "Corky" Dailey 12/19/42-6/17/25 Raymond "Corky" Dailey, loving husband of 45 years, father, grandfather and friend to many, passed away unexpectedly in his home. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Lake Winola, Pennsylvania. He spent his adult life in Carlisle, Pennsylvania working as a truck diesel mechanic for 45 years. He was an honorably discharged marine.
He was known by many for summer pool parties and family reunions. He enjoyed bowling and hunting. He was a member of Eagles #1299, Moose #761, and the Carlisle Club and always enjoyed spending time at each lodge. He was an avid Penn State Nittany Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He reveled in working on and fixing cars as well as riding motorcycles.
Mostly, Corky loved spending time with his kids-Dawn will always be Daddy's little girl, and Bill will always be his best friend. He loved well, worked hard, and never hesitated to offer help. It will be nearly impossible to look around their homes and not see anything that Dad didn't help out with.
Raymond was preceded in death by his spouse of 45 years, Carol Dailey (Kinsey), granddaughter Leona Hicks, mother, Florence Dailey (Bennett), brother William R. Dailey and sister June Staff (Dailey)
He is survived by his companion of 13 years, Isabelle Cassaro; son William D. Dailey and spouse Lea Dailey (Wienckowski); daughter, Dawn Huff (Dailey) and partner George Shughart; sister Marion Burdyn (Dailey); Grandchildren, Rebecca A.Huff, R. William Dailey, Joseph D. Dailey and R. Thomas Huff; and many nieces and nephews.
