Raymond Davis Obituary

Raymond Stephen Davis, 77, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away August 24, 2022.
Raymond was born July 31, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to Roy and Amalia Davis. His love of the water brought him to Florida in 2017 from Kearny, NJ.
Raymond experienced his childhood, traveling from Nicaragua to Bronx, New York and finally New Jersey. Known affectionately as Macho Loco Raymond was a Marine Corps veteran and was known for telling stories, teaching life lessons, and for never meeting a stranger. He always treated his neighbors like family. He was a devoted family man, who adored his children and grandchildren. He loved watching his grandsons and teaching them life lessons and adored his beloved and only granddaughter.
Raymond was a sweet and loving flirt. He loved blasting his music, everything from mariachi to New Orleans jazz. He used to build boats in City Island, NY and was the plant manager for a plastic recycling factory for over 30 years. Raymond was a great man who led an amazing family.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 51 years, Silvia (Aguilar) Davis; devoted children, Susan Davis of Kearny, NJ, Ray Davis of West Palm Beach, FL, Sylvia Davis of Port St. Lucie, FL and Rocio Menchaca, also of Port St. Lucie, FL; his sister, Sophie Vega of Colorado. His grandchildren: Devon, Nathaniel and Jayden Davis, Aiden and Nyomi Batista will miss their abuelo s infectious smile and loving manner.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 4PM to 6PM with a Prayer Service to begin at 6PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
