With profound sadness, we remember our joyful, loving, and ever-resilient Raymond Egoak, affectionately known as Ray, Lil' Ray, and Ray Ray. Born on August 9, 2018, in Anchorage, Alaska, Raymond was a true light in our lives until his untimely departure on November 17, 2025. His life, though short, was filled with laughter, love, and countless memorable moments that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Raymond was a beacon of love and joy in the lives of his family. His smart, thoughtful nature shone through in his interactions with those around him. His radiant smile lit up a room and his laughter was contagious. He cherished his family above all, and his kind-hearted nature made him a favorite among his siblings, cousins, and friends. Despite his young age, Raymond demonstrated a resilience that was truly admirable. He embraced the world around him, exploring every corner of his beloved hometown, Napaskiak, Alaska, with an adventurous spirit. His favorite pastime was playing with his siblings, cousins, and friends. He also found immense joy in spending time on his iPad, a testament to his curious and intelligent nature.

Raymond is survived by his loving mother, Katrina Egoak; his devoted father, Nick Joekay; his protective brother, Robin Joekay; and his adoring sister, Lucy Joekay. Each of them, along with the extended family and friends, will cherish his memory as a testament to his loving spirit and resilience. As we remember Raymond, let us hold onto the words of A.A. Milne, who said, "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." Raymond's life, though brief, was filled with love and joy, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.

In the spirit of celebrating Raymond's life, we invite you to share your cherished memories and photographs of him on his memorial page. This would be a beautiful way to honor our dear Raymond, ensuring that his legacy of love, intelligence, thoughtfulness, and resilience continues to live on.
