Obituary For Raymond Ellsworth Harrison III

Raymond Ellsworth Harrison III, aged 75, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, in Virginia Beach, VA. Born on June 11, 1950, in Harrisburg, PA, Raymond lived a life of dedication and service to his country and family.

Raymond served honorably in the United States Air Force, where he forged a path that would lead to a distinguished career as a government employee in national defense. His commitment to his work and his country was a testament to his character and integrity.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Ellsworth Harrison II; his son, Randal Smith Harrison; and his stepfather, Douglas Drake Speck.

Raymond leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Kim Anne Harrison; his beloved daughters, Rachelle Lynn Graffin, Anna Rama Knight, and Julia Elizabeth Harrison; his cherished grandchildren, Shelby Hensch, Ryan Graffin, and Ayla Morales-Harrison; his great-grandchildren, Zoey Hensch and Wyatt Hensch; and his mother, Elizabeth Speck.

From an early age, Raymond had a deep love for Sunbeam and Jaguar cars. He enjoyed collecting old radios and toys, and found joy in making jewelry and working with semi-precious stones. He believed that everything had value to the right person-a philosophy he carried throughout his life.

At this time, there are no services planned. Raymond will be remembered fondly by all who knew him and whose lives he touched.
