Raymond "Ray" Hemry, 92, Hamilton, MO., passed away on November 14, 2025, at his home in Hamilton. Ray lived in Hamilton most of his life.

Ray was born on July 20, 1933, in Hamilton at his home, to Robert Henry and Viola Mae (Whitmer) Hemry. He graduated from the Penney High School, Hamilton, in 1951. He honorably served his country in the Air Force from 1953-1957, working as a petroleum specialist and refueler in Alaska. Ray was employed at Donaldson's in Chillicothe for 30 years and also farmed.

In his spare time he was a member of the Hamilton American Legion Post #285 and the Hamilton Methodist Church, and he really enjoyed bowling and has bowled for many years with his friends on bowling teams. In the past he also used to enjoy competing in horseshoe throwing tournaments. He was very fond of growing large gardens.

Preceding Ray in death were his parents, brother-Herbert Hemry, and an infant brother-Harold.

On September 9. 1961, he married Mary Tee at the Hamilton Baptist Church. Mary survives of the home.

Additional survivors include his sons-Daniel Raymond Hemry, Kansas City, MO., and Mark Allan Hemry, Gardner, KS; grandson, Brandon Hemry (Kala), Liberty, MO.; and granddaughter, Amanda Hemry, Springfield, MO.

Graveside Service: 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 19, at HIghland Cemetery, Hamilton, MO.
