Raymond Earl House

Our beloved Raymond House was born on December 2, 1952, to the late Lonnie Lee House and Ruby Lee Cox House. He was also lovingly raised by his stepmother, Doris Mae House Russell. On October 20, 2025, Raymond peacefully entered eternal rest, surrounded by the love of his family.
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Lee House; mother, Ruby Lee Cox House; stepmother, Doris Mae House Russell; sisters, Mary House Best (Thomas) and Ruby House Daniel (Willie); and brothers, Albert House (Margie), Robert House, and James House (Martha Lou).
He leaves to cherish his precious memory five loving daughters: Ramona House, Christina Wong (Darryl), Tina Spell (Roy), Shelia Swartz (Craig), and Keyta House all of North Carolina.
He is also survived by his devoted brothers: Thomas House (Gladys) of Greenville, NC; Danny House (Ayodele, Tonia)of Cinnaminson, NJ; and Lonnie House (Kathy) of Irmo, SC; and his dear sister, Gilda House Northern (Mike) of Norfolk, VA. He is also remembered by his sister-in-law, Elizabeth House of Chesapeake, VA.
Raymond was the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who loved him dearly.
Raymond was known for his warm smile, his sense of humor, and his kind heart. He loved his family deeply and took pride in every moment spent with them. His legacy of love, laughter, and strength will live on in all who knew him.
Though his earthly journey has come to an end, Raymond's spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 PM in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Homestead Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
