Raymond J Humphrey, 85 died, Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold. Born and raised in the Bronx, he lived in Manalapan since 1967 before moving to Jackson 22 years ago. He served in the Army National Guard. He was a wholesale Salesman for 40 years before retiring in 2003. He was a parishioner of St Thomas More Church where he played the organ for many years. He also played for Our Lady of Mercy, Englishtown and Co-Cathedral of St Robert, Freehold. He was a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also an avid golfer. Surviving his beloved wife of 61 years, Diane M Humphrey, his children and their spouses, Peter Humphrey, Raymond Humphrey, Elizabeth Roy, Kevin Humphrey, brother, John Humphrey and 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 3-7 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 125 S Cooks Bridge Rd, Jackson. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday 10 AM at St Thomas More Church, Manalapan. In lieu of flowers please send donations to American Diabetes Association, 411 Hackensack Avenue, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
