Raymond Huntington

The open house celebrating the life of Raymond Huntington of Staples will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, at the Schuller Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services' Verndale Chapel, followed by a gathering at the McNair Park.
Raymond, age 85, passed away on October 2, 2025, at the Lakewood Health System Care Center, Staples, MN.
Raymond was born to Clarence and Marie (Drawbridge) Huntington on July 16, 1940, in Fergus Falls, MN. He loved playing cards or dice and was a flirt who also enjoyed music. Raymond had a big heart and helped raise his niece, June Huntington. Known to be stubborn and bullheaded, he fought with passion his entire life, even until his dying breath.
Preceding Raymond in death were his wife, Beverly (2020); parents, Clarence and Marie; two brothers and a sister.
Left to remember Raymond are his sisters: Mary Jensen of Elk River, Genevieve (Norman) Sand of McGrath, and Betty Potter of Wadena; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Honorary urn bearers will be his family and all who called him friend.
