Raymond Husband Obituary
With deep love and heavy hearts, we share the passing of Ray Husband, who was surrounded by his family at his home.
Ray was the devoted husband of Janet, his partner and best friend, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and adventure. Together, they built a family grounded in laughter and loyalty. He was the proud father of Brian (Lauren) and Mike (Cait), and the loving grandfather of his beloved granddaughters, Grace and Claire.
In his professional life, Ray was deeply proud of his distinguished career in the commercial real estate industry. Known for his integrity, expertise, and dedication, he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
After retirement, Ray found great joy in embracing the simple pleasures of life. He loved lakes and anything connected to the water-boating, skiing, or simply sitting by the shore. He also enjoyed watching airplanes, riding roller coasters, eating lobster, and watching football. Golf was another of his lifelong passions, especially when shared with friends who stood by him through every season of life. Yet, nothing brought him more happiness than the moments spent with his sons and grandchildren-playing, laughing, and creating memories that will live on in their hearts.
Ray had a rare gift for forming and maintaining lifelong friendships. Those who knew him cherished his humor, loyalty, and steady presence. His friends were with him through every chapter of his life, a testament to the kind of man he was-genuine, dependable, and always there when needed.
Though our hearts are broken, Ray's legacy lives on in the love he gave so freely, the lessons he taught by example, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
A celebration of Ray's life will be held, where family and friends will gather to share memories, stories, laughter, and love.
