Ray was preceded in death by his sister Rosemary (Sister Mary Esther) and brothers John and James.
He was born and raised in Chicago. He was proudly Irish and always enjoyed a good story. After graduation from mortuary school, he had a long career as a funeral director in the Chicago area.
A visitation for Ray will be held at Christus Victor Lutheran Church (1045 S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village, IL) on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL.
