In Loving Memory of Raymond Patrick Ketcher (known as Patrick)
On Wednesday August 7, 2024, Raymond Patrick Ketcher passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville Georgia at the young age of 63. Patrick was born on October 23,1960 in Vista California, the son of Bobbie Allman who resides in Santa Maria California.
Patrick moved to Eastanollee Georgia in May of 2023 with his wife Tina Marie Elmore-Ketcher and their six fur babies: a golden retriever Doc Holiday and five cats Jessie James, Victor, Miss Maura, Abby Rose, and Benjimin Franklin. They were looking forward to retiring there. Patrick had a love for early American History and was excited to live in a place with so much history. He had begun to write a history book before he passed away. Many evenings he could be found in his lazy boy reading a history book or watching reruns of Perry Mason and Colombo.
Patrick was always there for his family. He loved them beyond measure and would have done anything for any of them. Patrick had many friends who he would go to bat for over the years and loved spending time with as well. He had a great passion for good food. He had a wonderful sense of humor (while often very dry). Patrick was a man of few words, yet when he spoke, he had something worthwhile to say and was admired for his knowledge. He had faith in God and loved being involved in his church family from Michigan, where he and Tina resided for many years; he and his pastor there still spoke. Patrick was looking forward to finding a church family in his new community as well.
Patrick had a deep love for his blended family. His son Richard Patrick Ketcher, who is in the military, and his wife Emily and their son James. His daughter Kathrine Smith, who was always his baby girl (and he referred to her as such), her husband Jake their children Clara, Brandon, and Marcus. His son Christopher Micheal Duet (by marriage, but he loved him as his own) his wife Beth and their daughter Teagan. His son Donovan Elliott Duet (another son by marriage that he could not have loved more) his wife Cathrine their children Aiden, Ellie, and Jaxon.
Patrick will be greatly missed by many and was taken from those he loved, and that loved him, entirely too soon. May he now have peace and rest until he can be with those who love him once again.
