Teresa Nadine Blackwell, age 69 of Spartanburg, South Carolina and formerly of Toccoa passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Marion Luther Blackwell and Catherine Stephens Blackwell, she was born July 29, 1956 in Stephens County, Georgia where she had lived most of her life. She was employed with Pinline Garment Company for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She loved to cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Larry, Doug, Kenneth and Ricky Blackwell, sisters, Donna Jones and Charlene Peacock and by a granddaughter, Kirsty Franco.

Survivors include her daughters, Crissy Schuster of Toccoa and Donna Sue Neira (Meghan) of Belton, South Carolina; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Donnie Blackwell of Belton, South Carolina, Ronnie Blackwell (Luann) of Demorest, Georgia and Tony Blackwell of Toccoa; sisters, Sue Blackwell of Pendleton, South Carolina and Peggy McIntyre of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025, 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Bill Trotter officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Austin Blackwell, Jacob Schuster, Greg Blackwell, Alex Blackwell, Patrick Holbrooks, Zach Schuster, Casey McIntyre and John Franco.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 12 noon until the service time. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Toccoa City Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Teresa Nadine Blackwell.
