Raymond C. Kieffner, age 92, formerly of Loogootee, gained his angel wings on Tuesday, June 6th at 1:15 PM in Sun City Center, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Raymond was blessed with wonderful care from his daughter Linda and son-in-law Toney Lynch for the last six years.
Raymond was born May 19, 1931, in Jasper, Indiana the son of Andrew and Edith (Bauer) Kieffner.
Raymond is known for being a master fisherman, following Loogootee basketball, for being a kind gentle soul, and for loving all of his family so very dearly. He was very proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Raymond is preceded in death by his loving wife Deloris, his daughter Betty Kieffner, as well as his parents and three siblings. His remaining children are Donna McCarron of Owensboro, Kentucky, Linda (Toney) Lynch of Sun City Center, Florida, Raymond Jr. (Ida) Kieffner, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Connie Walker (Tony Yarnell) of Loogootee, Indiana, and Aimee (Dave) Arvin of Evansville, Indiana.
A private graveside service for family only will take place at the Goodwill Cemetery in Loogootee, Indiana at a later date.
