Raymond N. Mailhot

Raymond N. Mailhot, 85, of Pinardville, NH, passed away on March 4, 2026 at Bowman Place in Bedford. Born in Goffstown on November 19, 1940, he was a son of the late Albert and Germaine (Boulanger) Mailhot. He shared 65 years of marriage with his wife, Claire (Rolande) Mailhot.

Raymond was a lifelong resident of Pinardville and spent nearly his entire life living on his family's property. He attended St. Edmund's High School and went on to build a long career as a skilled carpenter, specializing in acoustic ceiling and door installation with Granite State Acoustics. Later, he worked as a maintenance specialist at Trinity High School. In his free time, Raymond loved playing cribbage and could often be found watching the Boston Red Sox or the New England Patriots. Camping was a cherished tradition throughout his life, beginning with simple tent camping in his younger years and gradually upgrading to van camping and eventually a motorhome (much to his wife Claire's encouragement). Raymond also took great pride in his restored 1969 Delta 88 Oldsmobile Convertible and especially enjoyed taking scenic drives with Claire.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Claire Mailhot of Pinardville; his sons, Donald Mailhot of Pinardville, Bob Mailhot and his wife Terry of St. Cloud, FL, and Maurice Mailhot and his wife Denise of Goffstown; his daughter, Lynn Lamontagne and her husband Michael of Huntersville, NC; his sisters, Yvette Beauchesne of Hooksett and Jeannine LaRochelle of Goffstown; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Raymond was predeceased by his siblings, Pauline Lapointe, Gerald Mailhot, and Paul Mailhot.

Services will be held privately.
