Raymond Alexander Overbee

Raymond Alexander Overbee; September 9, 1971 - October 1, 2024; a 53-year-old resident of Geneva, Florida was the son of Richard Arnold Overbee, Jr. (Winter Park, Fl.)and LouAnne (Crabtree) Clark (Beattyville, Ky), died at his home of natural causes. He suffered from diabetes type II for a very long time. He attended Lee County (Ky) Vocational School grad with an Electrician Certification and was a 1991 HS graduate of Oviedo High School (Seminole County, FL).
He was a lifetime member of Orange Blossom Lodge No.80 in Kissimmee, Florida, and an officer of the lodge for 6 years. As such he volunteered to serve as an honored representative of "Proud 16th" Masonic District F&AM! He also served in the UK's Dreamflight-USA charity for 20 years as a volunteer escort of special people.
He will be missed by many including his F&AM Brothers and other Facebook friends, Family, and neighbors in many states, on both sides of the pond too.
Ray was not married and had no children. He is survived in addition to his mother and father, by his fraternal uncle Joseph Wayne Overbee (Brenda) Seattle; Harvey Gene Gillispie (Tina) Glasgow, Ky.; fraternal aunt Karen (Overbee) Taylor (Jim) Milford OH; maternal uncles, Samuel B Crabtree (Kim), and James B Crabtree; maternal aunts, Donna Fare (Wade) and Gayla Crabtree; other cousins, nephews, nieces; great-nephews and nieces.
Raymond was the life and rock of many throughout his life. He lived many years with Grace Caudill Lucas who lived in Canyon Falls all of her life. Ray the light of Grace's life when he was made a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church.
He will undergo cremation with arrangements provided by Newcomer's Funeral Home of Florida and in Beattyville, Kentucky Newman's Funeral Home. A celebration of Life Memorial is planned in November.
